You’ve probably been wondering what happened to the Never Let Me Go podcast.
(For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about: A while back I proposed to put together a “book club podcast” of sorts, where I encouraged anyone who had read the book Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro to call a voicemail number and leave a message talking about any aspect of the book they pleased. My plan was to take the voicemail recordings and create put them together into one podcast.)
What happened was, only one person called and left a message. (Thank you so very much, Mr. Anonymous caller.) So there wasn’t really enough of a response to create a podcast episode. But since I know you’re all curious, here is the recording:

Hey -- would it be okay if I copied the graphic on the side and put it up on my page (so all 13 people who drop by could see it without having to link)?
Melissa-- Absolutely! By all means, an extra 13 people who know about it is a potential 13 participants (hey, does that include me?).
Renee, I saw this on Melissa blog. I'll be happy to add the graphic on my blog, too, and maybe you'll get a few more people.
This sounds like a wonderful idea. I enjoyed listening to Mr. Anonymous on your first unofficial podcast. This is something new and exciting.
Excellent idea, Renee! I HAD been wondering what happened to the podcast project, and kept meaning to call and say something about what I'd hear about the book (not having read it yet myself). I'll dig out my favourite Christmas story tomorrow and drop you a line soon.
Found you via Fuse#8. Will definitely be hunting down my copy of A Wish for Wings that Work so I can have it handy when I call in.
I'll try to get the graphic up on my blog too, but Blogger will have to be kind to me....
